In this practical, inspiring session, RHS Principal Horticultural Advisor Leigh Hunt explores the big shifts shaping our plots: warmer, drier summers, heavier downpours, and changing seasons. If anything, we’ll need out green fingers more than ever!

Blending up to date science with hands on know how, Leigh will share simple, effective ways to adapt any space – from balconies to back gardens. Expect clear guidance on choosing climate ready plants, building healthier soils, gardening water smart (from mulches to rain capture), and designing for shade, heat and wind. We’ll look at peat free and lower input approaches that save effort and support wildlife, plus ideas to boost year round interest without ramping up maintenance.
